Pearl Thusi, who is best known for her roles in ‘The No. 1 Ladies\' Detective Agency’, ‘Quantico’ and in the romantic drama film ‘Catching Feelings’. Born in the township of KwaNdengezi in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, Pearl’s full name is Sithembile Xola Pearl Thusi. Pearl did her drama studies from the University of the Witwatersrand. At the age of 15, she entered Miss South Africa Teen and came second as she was crowned first princess. She also featured in a music video entitled Pearl Thusi by Emtee. She has able to make a mark for herself in the television industry. Pearl made her TV debut alongside Zola Hashatsi when they co-presented an interactive animated kids show in 2009. She has also co-hosted a celebrity gossip magazine show, The Real Goboza. Her favourite show is TV series ‘Isidingo’ and she has also acted in it.
